Fun in the Sun

With the temperature reaching over 90 degrees in our neighborhood, it's no wonder we were drawn to this Sun Splashed patterned paper by We R Memory Keepers.  Here is a sneak peak of the summer project we have been working on. We will be back soon to show you the rest of this minibook and details on how you could get the supplies to make your very own!

We hope you are enjoying your summer and are finding plenty of fun in the sun!

Waste not...

How many times have you found yourself one punched item short because you did not maxamize paper space? I can't tell you how many times I've done this to myself! During a recent project I realized I was wasting valuable paper by not thinking through the layouts of my punches. I joked with Crystal about it and she said she does the same thing, which got me thinking...how many of us are doing this?

It's very simple, take a few extra moments to plan out your punches. By turning my butterfly punch everytime I used it, I gained one extra butterfly per strip of paper. One step further is to cut down your paper to allow exactly how much space you'll need....but that might be getting ahead of ourselves! :)

top strip shows wasted space. turn the punch...problem solved!

Happy Scrapin,

Spring Fling - Paperbag 6x6 Minibook Kit!

Paperbags aren't just for carrying your lunch anymore!

You can make a fun & unique 6x6 paperbag mini album with our new Spring Fling Project Kit!

At the last retreat we attended our paperbag mini albums were quite a hit. We completely sold out of them over the course of a weekend! We can take a hint -- so we designed an all new paperbag minibook kit!

This album is great for displaying all your favorite Spring memories or it could be the perfect gift for the soon-to-be graduate in your life! The Spring Fling Project Kit has everything you need to complete the project - a paperbag mini album, coordinating papers, sticker letters, ribbon, and embellies. (even an exclusive T & D zipper flower!)

Crystal used her kit to show off all of her favorite Spring pics from 2009!

We've got a WINNER!

And the Coaster Mini-book goes to... Shelly!

Congrats! We will get the Coaster album to you this week.

I just LOVE the coaster mini-albums! I think that's what I'll do for the grandparents for Tori's graduation!

Keep up the great work, ladies! No other site is as helpful to me as yours!

Happy Scrapbooking Day!

Since it is National Scrapbooking Day, we had the perfect excuse to set aside some time this weekend to do what we love - SCRAPBOOK!  We just got back from a very fun event at our local craft store.  Are you a scrapper?  If so, then you probably understand why scrapbooking is more than just a hobby to us. There is something about getting together with a group of friends and reminiscing about all of the cherished memories you are trying to preserve. Now before we start sounding all serious - let it be known that one of our favorite things about scrapbooking is letting go, being silly, and laughing until our sides ache!  So to all our fellow scrappers - we hope you can make a little time for scrapbooking (and laughing) this weekend too!

Here's what we were working on...

Crystal's grandpa is turning 90 at the end of the month. After lots of organizing and SHOPPING - she finally got started. It's quite a task to scrapbook 90 years of life!  We will be sure to post some pictures of the end result.  What fun old pictures!

And here's a little sneak peak of something else we have been working on...

May's kit will be released very soon! Be sure to check back later this weekend as you wont

want to miss out on this fun little project!

Oh and as promised we have a special giveaway just for National Scrapbooking Day!

You could win our Coaster Mini-album kit!

Just post a comment to be entered in the drawing. Tell us why you like scrapbooking, what you are working on, or how you are celebrating National Scrapbooking Day! If you don't scrapbook then tell us what you do like to do.

The winner will be announced on Monday evening!

Happy Scrappin!
