Tea Party Favor

As promised, we wanted to show you how Kelli made this  favor for the guests at her shower. It literally took about a minute to make and all of the guests were raving about how cute and thoughtful it was!

Materials:

8 1/2 inch piece of cardstock,
a few scraps of patterned paper,
a couple of your favorite punches,
adhesive (we used glue dots),
an individual packet of tea,
a neat stamp & some ink.

How To:

Step 1: Cut a piece of cardstock to 8 1/2 inches x 3 inches.

Step 2: Score the paper at 3 1/2 inches, 3 3/4 inches, 4 inches,
and again at 7 1/2 inches.

Step 3: Fold the cardstock where you have scored it. At 3 1/2 inches fold away from you, 3 3/4 inches fold towards you, and at 4 inches and 7 1/2 inches fold away from you. This will create a 3 1/2 x 3 inch card that stands up.

Step 4: Use adhesive to hold an individual packet of tea to inside of the card.

Step 5: Close card and use adhesive on the front flap to hold the card together.

Step 6: Embellish the outside of the card by layering your favorite punches, stamping a greeting, etc. Kelli even printed a special message on the back of her card to thank everyone.

Now when someone does something sweet for you, whip up this cute little tea favor to say thanks. Or you could use this design to make place cards for your next dinner party! The possibilities are endless!

Happy Scrappin!
