A fun and unique embellishment!

Zipper flowers seem to be all the rage these days. We have seen them on t-shirts, headbands, and of course in scrapbook layouts. So we thought we would try making our very own zipper flowers.

They turned out to be pretty easy to make.

Materials:

All you need is a zipper, a hot glue gun, and any other embellishments you want to add to the flower.

How to:

First unzip the zipper and cut off the zipper pull. You will then have two zippers you can use to make flowers. To create the flower we started in the center of the flower and glued the zipper as we wrapped it around and around. Then we glued on our embellishments to dress the flowers up a bit.

We made some with plastic zippers and some with metal zippers to get two different looks.

Now they can easily be attached to a t-shirt, headband, or become the perfect embellishment on your next scrapbook page!

Happy Crafting!
